Hi! Welcome to Cosplay Yunkie! 

My name is Natalie, and my partner is Kyle and together we run a sewing business in Ohio. We mainly create cosplay pieces, both on a professional level and in a more casual style. We are the creators of the Cosplay Shrug, maybe you’ve seen us on TikTok 😊 

I have been cosplaying since 5th grade, but I got my first sewing machine when I was about 17 and it’s been my story ever since. Being the only friend in the group that could kind of sew, I instantly started taking commissions and con crunching. After these cons I’d be bored so I started an Etsy to do the same for strangers!  

You all didn’t stay strangers for long though. I almost instantly found myself in a fast paced beautifully chaotic group of con goers, fellow cosplayers, and seamstresses. What quickly started as a hobby turned into comic con guest events, teaching at panels, photoshoots, etc, etc. I couldn’t believe the world I found. 

 

Fast forward to today and the sewing hasn’t slowed down one bit. We strive to constantly draw new designs and create as much as we can.
